The details of the programme are as under- 

1. Karpoori Thakur Scholarship Scheme - Under Karpoori Thakur Scholarship Scheme, the members of CMAI Association of India through CSR funds will provide Scholarship to Students for Higher Education in Engineering/Management in any AICTE approved institutes. The selection will be based on a simple test. The Scholarship can be for entire or a part of education fees. The Scholarship amount will be paid directly to the Institute, where students want to pursue their Studies. We will help students in getting admission in Engineering/Management Colleges. All the funding is by our Indian Members. There is no involvement of any foreign person or Company in this Scheme. This Scheme is not related to any political party and is meant only for Student Welfare. We are also launching the Scheme in states of Gujarat, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh. 


2. Centre of Excellence for ICT – Under this Scheme the members of CMAI Association of India under their CSR project will give funding for Centre of Excellence for ICT to about 200 Colleges in Bihar. Under this scheme we will help them establish a Centre for Excellence, where they can teach and give skills for Mobile, WiFi, Telecom, IT. CMAI will provide the funding for the equipments. There is no financial liability on the part of the Institutes/University. The Institutes and Universities will be free on their decision to start any skill or teaching based on the Equipment. Our members will provide them technical capability and training for the same.


3. National Bihar Education Summit & Awards – In this Summit all the Vice Chancellors will discuss a roadmap for Education in Bihar. The Institutions with Excellence and focus for Bihar Students will be recognized and presented accolades.

Several officials from Government of Bihar, Government of India and other Telecom & IT Associations of India will be participating in this event, which will be extensively covered by the media.

National Bihar Education Summit & Awards 2016 would be amongst the most important achievements for your Institute that will enable you to clearly differentiate your Institute in comparison to other Institutes.
