Education Awards 2013

On account of request from Several Institutes and also likely Governor of UP to attend as the Chief Guest for the event, the dates has been extended as under –

• The date for the Award Event has been extended to 19th August depending upon confirmation of Governor of UP.
• Awards would be graced by:
  1. Hon’ble Shri Abhishek Mishra, Minister of Science & Technology UP.
  2. Hon’ble Prof. SK Kak, Vice Chancellor, Mahamaya Technical University.
  3. Hon’ble Prof. SS Mantha, Chairman AICTE.
  4. Hon’bleHon’ble Shri Ashwani Kumar, MD NIELIT ( DOEACC )
• Also to be joined by
  1. Mr. Yogesh Kochhar, Director Microsoft.

  19th August at JSS Academy of Technical Education Auditorium, Noida.

National UP Educational Awards 2013 being organized by CMAI Association of India and supported by Mahamaya Technical University, Noida , AICTE, Government of India  MNRE/DeIT, NIELIT on 19th August 2013 at JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida.

Several officials from MTU , Government of India and other Telecom & IT Associations of India will be participating in this event, which will be extensively covered by the media.

8th World Communication Awards will be organized on 7th May, 2014, at FICCI Auditorium, New Delhi. The awards would be presented by Dr Hamadoun Toure, Secretary General ITU, Geneva; Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Minister for MNRE; Prof Tim Unwin, CEO CTO; Hon’ble Shri Kapil Sibal, MOIC & IT; Shri S. S. Mantha, Chairman AICTE; Dr Mukul Sangma, CM Meghalaya and Minister of MHRD.

As a subset to above, State Level Awards are being organized. The first three state Awards that are: ‘National Uttarakhand Education Awards 2013’ and ‘National Madhya Pradesh Education Awards

2013’ has been jointly organized by Uttarakhand Technical University & RGPV University respectively along with CMAI Association of India and supported by AICTE, Ministry Of MNRE, DeIT on 11th February, 2013 , 19 March 2013 at Bhopal respectively. CMAI also coorganized ‘CCI Technology Education Excellence Awards 2013’ in Gujarat with support of Gujarat Technological University. The next are planned in UP, Haryana, Orissa etc and would be followed in other States.
The awards in Dehradun were presented by Hon’ble Shri Vijay Bahugana, Chief Minister Uttarakhand and Prof. Dr. DS Chauhan, Vice-Chancellor, Uttarakhand Technical University; Shri RC Pathak, IAS Secretary, Science and Technology Uttarakhand Government; Director IIT Roorkee and Representative of AICTE.

The Awards in Madhya Pradesh were graced by Hon’ble Shri Kailash Vijayvargia, Minister for Science and Technology, IT, Hon’ble Shri Laxmikant Sharma, Minister of Technical Education & Higher Education, Hon’ble Shri Mahendra Hardia, Minister of State for Technical Education, Hon’ble Prof. Piyush Trivedi, Vice Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya.

CMAI presents National UP Education Awards to those who have contributed significantly in the field of improving the quality in education delivery with emphasis on world-class research and innovations and enhancing the development of quality education.

In Uttar Pradesh there are several colleges and institutions which have come up across the State offering a number of courses in various streams like engineering, medical, management and many more. This rapid pace of growth has brought to the fore compelling issue of effective management of the educational programs so as to better prepare our youngsters for the fast evolving competitive environment.

There are institutes who are focusing their energies on overall quality of education and making their students more employable so that they can make meaningful contribution towards making India a true superpower in the coming years.
